This medium is used for the enumeration of micro-organisms revitalized in water and wastewater by the technique of aerobiotic colony count at 22°C and at 36°C (according to the method) by incorporation in nutrient agar medium according to norm ISO6222. The nutrient substances provided by tryptone and factor of growth of yeast extract favor the growth of most bacteria.
