PATHfinder SureXtra are heat inactivated bacterial pellets in a known cell count. PATHfinder sureXtra can be used as process control in PCR experimental sessions ensuring a tight control of DNA extraction yield. PATHfinder Surextra are also a tool to validate PCR kits LOD (after enrichment) on matrix-specific basis. In particular this surextra contains E. coli cells inserted with a plasmid carrying the target sequences of PMB44A-50. Hence, it can be used only with this kit.
