This kit allows for the detection in food and feed DNA extracts of the GMO markers p35S CaMV and tNOS. Using this real-time PCR kit its possible to detect around 75% of the events registered in the EU GMO database. When coupling this kit to PGE52A-50. PGE53A-50. and PGE54A-50 laboratories equipped with a 2 color real-time PCR instrument can detect more than 90% excluding only events without any typical GM marker. The kit was developed according to the experimental design of the EU reference laboratory (see https://gmo-crl.jrc.ec.europa.eu/gmomethods/).
