This Real-Time PCR kit allows for the detection in food and feed DNA extracts of the CaMV and FMV virions targeting genome sequences different from GM markers p35S and p34S. The presence of virions can explain unexpected positivity to markers p35S and p34S although it doesn't exclude the possible presence of a GMO contamination.
