Buffered Charcoal Yeast Extract Agar without L-Cysteine (BCYE-Cys) is a selective medium for metabolic confirmation of suspected colonies of Legionella spp. in water samples from various sources (water intended for human consumption, industrial wastewater, wastewater, thermal and mineral water) and in environmental samples. Medium formula reflects indications of ISO 11731, while production and quality control are operated according to ISO 11133.
