Competitive ELISA kit for the detection and quantification of beta-lactoglobulin (BLG) in food and environmental samples. The detection limit is < 2 ppm while the quantification range is 2.5-40 ppm. The kit is supplied with a NIST SRM8435 (whole milk powder) calibration standard. Sample preparation takes about 40 minutes while the test takes 120 minutes. A unique spreadsheet in which to insert the optical densities of the standards sample calculates the exact concentration of BLG in parts per million (ppm) thanks to advanced multiparametric interpolations.
