PATHfinder SureXtra are heat inactivated bacterial pellets in a known cell count. PATHfinder sureXtra can be used as process control in PCR experimental sessions ensuring a tight control of DNA extraction yield. PATHfinder Surextra are also a tool to validate PCR kits LOD (after enrichment) on matrix-specific basis. In particular this surextra contains Listeria monocytogenes cells, hence it can be used with any PCR kit detecting this specific food pathogen or Listeria spp.
