The CP Select is an automated and rapid filtration system for modern microbiology. It is highly efficient and effective for concentrating bacteria, parasites, mold, spores and fungal fragments, whole cells and viruses. Centrifugation, pH adjustment, incubation and transfer steps are not necessary. The system can filter up to 150 ml/min by concentrating the biological agents contained in 5 liters in just 150 ?l of a clean buffer solution. The method is based on filtration through the high-flow hollow fibers present in the disposable pipettes followed by instant sample recovery with the automated Wet Foam Elution process. Applications include - Water, Food, Beverages and QC/QA Pharmaceuticals Environmental Monitoring ¬ Infection Monitoring - Biosurveillance.
