PATHfinder Real-Time PCR kits are primary tools for modern food and water quality and safety testing. The kits detect in different sample the presence and the identity of microrganisms through their DNA. The kits include an internal amplification control, a positive and a negative control. This 3-Plex kit paired to an appropriate DNA extraction kit (e.g. Generon FASTfood - Cat# EXD009) allows, at the same time, for the detection of Staphilococcus spp. And Satphylococcus aureus in less than 2 hours. The kit in less than 30 minutes, without any DNA extraction step, allows also for the identification as Staphilococcus spp. and Satphylococcus aureus of a colony isolated on a plated growth medium.
