Proprietary selective enrichment broth used for the detection of Shiga toxin producing Escherichia coli (STEC) in food and environmental samples using iQ-Check Real-Time PCR kits. The peptone mix and nutritive supplement provide the nutritional elements required for an optimal STEC growth. The selective mixture inihibits the majority of bystander flora providing the necessary biological space to STEC growth. The powder medium doesn’t require any supplementing.
